Peanut Butter Waldorf Salad

Peanut Butter Waldorf Salad

This little salad packs a lot of punch for a fruit salad. After all apples raisins and celery are well known for their ability to taste great when covered in peanut butter!

Traditional waldorf salad has marshmallows in it as well, but for this recipe I find that the soft texture and sweetness of the raisins more than makes up for no marshmallows. But you are welcome to add them to your dish when you make this!

Celery and sunflower seeds give this a nice little crunch and the peanut butter just tops off the whole thing with yummieness!

This salad is so simple to make! Just wash and slice or dice the apples to your liking. Layer the apples, raisins, chopped celery into a bowl. Melt the peanut butter and honey in the microwave until the mixture is pourable but not runny.

Pour the melted peanut butter and honey over the fruit and top with sunflower seeds. Then serve and eat immedately for a yummy breakfast, lunch or snack!!!
